To every follower of Christ, we are to teach others what we’ve been taught by Jesus Christ Himself as He commanded us in Matthew 28 after His resurrection; “Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you”. It is the duty and expectation of every follower to endeavor to make disciples of others by teaching what Jesus Christ instructed and not the contrary.
During the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, His messages were based on our salvation because He knew that it was what men needed most in order to successfully return back to God. Teaching contrary to the message of Christ is not of God and we are not to encourage this among ourselves – Matthew 28vs20.
As one who professes to be a follower of Christ in God’s vineyard, please make sure that what you teach align with what Jesus Christ expects and let us continuously keep our focus on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
