Jesus Christ in Mark 8 warned His disciples to watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod. What Jesus Christ meant by yeast are the false teachings and attitudes of the Pharisees. Jesus Christ used the word yeast because it has the ability to totally influence a large quantity of dough despite being very small. The teachings and attitudes of the Pharisees and Herod were such that could negatively influence and mislead into great destruction. This warning is not only for those in Jesus’ time but also to all believers around the world even in our time. Jesus Christ says we should all watch out because false teachers and preachers will rise and shall mislead many with their wrong teachings and doctrines.
To all faithful lovers of God, this is end time and false preachers are all over places seeking for whom to deceive with their teachings. Please, keep watch else you may fall astray.
In times and season like this, be careful of false teachings for the salvation of your soul and others around you. Pray more for the influence of the Holy Spirit to be guided at all times against the prophesied bait of the heretic end time preachers. As you, let us to keep our focus on this same Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
