Mark 5vs18-20 tells us that whatsoever God has done in our lives, we shouldn’t hide it but testimony to the glory of God. Yes, testimonies defeat the enemy’s plans and purposes just as the Bible says in Revelation 12vs11; “And they overcome him by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word for their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death”.
Testimonies are public acknowledgement and proclamation of God’s goodness. Individual testimonies are the foundation and strength of the church because it strengthens the faith of many and ignites the faith of those that have waxed cold. When you share your testimony, you showcase how God has made you more than a conqueror. When you testify to the goodness of God, it shows people that God is in the business of doing it again and again and again, not just for you but for anyone else who believes.
My people let’s cultivate the habit of sharing our testimonies to the glory of God because this can strengthen the faith of someone somewhere and as we do, let us continue to keep our focus on Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: no one goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
