A lot of people are of the wrong impression that the moment they are with Christ, all forms of hardship, problems, sorrows and so on comes to a total end in their lives but they fail to understand that the narrow Way which Jesus Christ instructed us to follow is a way that attracts attacks, problems, trials, persecution and the likes. Yes, this doesn’t mean we won’t find joy, comfort, peace, happiness and the like because life in Christ is life of joy, comfort, peace, happiness and so on.
This goes a long way to tell us that those who wish to live a fulfilled life with God will definitely experience good and bad times alike. Whenever destiny fulfillment is concerned, hard and good times are inevitable, for they go hand in hand for as the glory God manifests.
Many people don’t like hearing the bad side of destiny fulfillment, they don’t like the idea of them passing through suffering or being persecuted, but they don’t know that for the good side to manifest, the bad side must also come into a play as well. The same was applicable to Jesus Christ, fulfilling His destiny on earth wasn’t all easy for Him. He faced both good and bad times. When He was telling His disciples about the dark phase of His life, they frowned at it, but they enjoyed hearing the good sides, which is not always meant to be so – Matthew 17vs22-23.
Destiny fulfillment in Christ Jesus is in two phases, it goes with both hard and easy times, praise and condemnation, joy with sadness and so on. If you fail to accept these two, you are definitely not prepared for greatness in life.
To succeed with Christ, be ready for pain and gain. Remember there is no glory without a story and as you do, continue to keep your focus on this same Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life: that no one goes to goes to God except through Him – John 14vs6.
